Kappa Upsilon Chi is a non-denominational group of men whose chief desire in life is to know Christ and to make him known. Our fraternity creed sums up our core beliefs as an organization.
Is Kappa Upsilon Chi a real fraternity?
Most of America's fratenities today were founded on Christian ideals and beliefs. Kappa Upsilon Chi is in every aspect a "real fraternity." KYX is definitely not a "club" where members can come and go as they please. Becoming a part of the brotherhood KYX is not an easy process. It requires a higher level of commitment and desire than most are accustomed to. KYX desires to model the best of the rich tradition of today's fraternity system with the life changing, daily discipline of a Christ centered life.
Does the fraternity have chapter houses?
The fraternity does not currently have any chapter housing. Due to liability concerns, this type of issue will be overseen and addressed in the coming years by the National Organization.
What is the fraternities stance on alcohol?
The fraternity does not allow alcohol at any of its functions. In all other matters pertaining to alcohol, the fraternity submits to what is taught in Scripture.
What kind of social interaction does KYX have?
Social interation and social skills are very important in the life of any successful leader. KYX has a very strong social program. KYX interacts with many of the other fraternities, sororities, and campus organizations. We seek to build strong relationships and be a "light to our campus."
