Fall Recruitment Schedule

Feeling led to this ministry? Fall Rush Week is from September 8-12.

Monday, September 8, 2008: Rock Band Party/Game NIght with Sigma Phi Lambda; Cardinal Village Phase 2 Media Room; 6:30pm

Tuesday, September 9, 2008: Informal Rush: We invite all potential pledges to attend this Q&A session with the memebers of Eta Chapter. Come as you are to the Setzer Student Center at 6:30pm!

Wednesday, September 10, 2008: Attend a local Bible study with a Kappa Chi!

Thursday, September 11, 2008: Formal Rush in the Setzer Center at 6:30pm. This event is required for all potential pledges. Please wear slacks and a nice, collared shirt.

Friday, September 12, 2008: Interview and Bid Night: Come and be interviewed by our officer body! This event is required for all potential pledges. We would like to get to know you better! After interviews you may be given the opportunity to accept an invitation to pledge.

Saturday, September 13, 2008: Dive- In movie with the Phi Lambs. A pool, a movie, and food! Directions will be given at Bid Night!

Requirements of Pledging

Pledges are required to:

1. Attend 100% of New Member Education Meetings

2. Attend 100% of Chapter Meetings (Sunday Evenings)

3. Attend 100% of Rush Activities (Aug. 20-28)

4. Attend a weekly accountability group

5. Attend the Brotherhood Retreat

6. Participated in the Semester Service Project

7. Attend Prayer Night

8. Participate in a Local Church

9. Participate in a Bible Study

10. Be currently enrolled at Lamar University

11. Maintain a 2.0 GPA

12. Attend 2 hours of Study Hall a week (Hours due at New Member Meetings)

13. Pay Dues
