Gamma Chapter Officers


Kyle Marshall

President - The president supervises and coordinates all fraternity activities. He is the fraternity's public representative and conducts the business portion of the meetings. The president shall abstain from voting on business unless a tie must be broken. His duties include but are not limited to: reporting on the state of the fraternity, reporting on officer corps activities, keeping meeting agendas, and bringing forth new or old business.


Zach Copeland

Internal Vice President - The Internal Vice President oversees all pledgeship, rush activities, health and safety, and initiation events of the fraternity. Additionally, he assists the President with his responsibilities by maintaining internal relations. He assists the Rules Committee by serving as the liaison between them and the officers, by responding appropriately to rules violations and by enforcing the respective punishments for violations of the standards of membership and character standards. He fills in for the President should the President be absent or become temporarily incapacitated.


Preston Morgan

External Vice President - The External Vice President oversees all Public Relations efforts, social activities, promotions, intramurals, and service of the fraternity.


Tyler Deaton

Chaplain - The chaplain shall direct the fraternity in spiritual growth and keep it focused on the Lord's will. He shall be in charge of prayer nights, retreats, and is responsible for the praise and worship times at meetings of Kappa Upsilon Chi. The chaplain oversees the outreach of the fraternity.


Jon Jonse

 

Treasurer - The treasurer is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the fraternity. It is his responsibility to collect dues and, with the consent of another officer, authorize spending for budgeted activities incurred each semester. He may request at any time financial information from each of the officers or committees for their semester activities. The Treasurer is encouraged to regularly present up-to-date financial data to the actives throughout the semester.

Ted Wilson
Secretary - The secretary shall be in charge of the recording of all activities, keeping the minutes for all meetings, preparing the calendar of events, and overseeing the communications, history and alumni relations of the fraternity. He is also responsible for all educational resources, if any, and their outlets.
