Leadership is one of the core values of a KYX, at the national and chapter level.

Our Leadership

Kappa Upsilon Chi is a "leadership fraternity." We believes that our members are called to be servant leaders in their families, churches, and communities. We believe that servant leadership is not something that comes naturally, but is embodied in the daily and practical application of Christ's teachings. This is what "true discipleship" is all about.

The National Office consists of a Board of Directors. There are currently 9 alumni members of the fraternity that are serving in this capacity. The Board of Directors oversees all programs and affairs of the fraternity and ensures that each chapter is operating according to their charter and founding purpose. The National Board of Directors is committed to ensuring that each chapter is focused on "God's will" and exemplifying His purposes in "word and deed". The National Board desires that all of its members are becoming more like "Christ" and finding and fulfilling the purpose for which they are destined for. The National board also is charged with ensuring that certain fiduciary duties are met and that day-to-day operations are running smoothly and efficiently. The National Board is also tasked with short-term and long-term strategic planning.
