Fall Recruitment Schedule

Sunday Aug. 20- INFORMATION NIGHT at the located at the KYX House. Begins at 6 p.m.

Monday Aug. 21- INFORMAL RUSH all day at the KYX House. Activities will occur all day long but food will be provided at night. Night activities begin at 7 p.m.

Tuesday Aug. 22- INFORMAL RUSH all day at the KYX House. Activities will occur all day long but food will be provided at night.Night activities begin at 7 p.m.

Wednesday Aug. 23- INFORMAL RUSH all day at the KYX House. Activities will occur all day long but food will be provided at night. Night activities begin at 7 p.m.

Thursday Aug. 24- PRAYER NIGHT at the KYX House. Prayer Night begins at 8 p.m.

Friday Aug. 25- FORMAL RECRUITMENT (Invitiation Required) at the KYX House. Recruitment begins at 8 p.m. A collared shirt, tie and coat are recommended for this evening.

Saturday Aug. 26- Interviews at the KYX House. You will be invited to interview by a brother at Formal Recruitment.

Sunday Aug. 27- Active Chapter to vote on Bids. Bid delivery is Sunday evening.

Monday Aug. 28- INDUCTION will be held at an undisclosed Location.

Requirements of Pledging

Pledges are required to:

1. Attend 100% of New Member Education Meetings (Tuesday Evenings)

2. Attend 100% of Chapter Meetings (Sunday Evenings)

3. Attend 100% of Rush Activities (Aug. 20-28)

4. Attend a weekly accountability group

5. Attend the Brotherhood Retreat (Oct. 20-22)

6. Participated in the Semester Service Project (Sept. 16, Oct. 14, Nov. 6)

7. Attend Prayer Night (Sept. 1 (MANDATORY), Oct. 11, Nov. 3, Nov. 16)

8. Participate in a Local Church

9. Participate in a Bible Study

10. Be currently enrolled at UF

11. Maintain a 2.0 GPA

12. Attend 2 hours of Study Hall a week (Hours due at New Member Meetings)

13. Pay Dues ($200)
